YIN is a platform for the youth that aims to foster their knowledge, information, understanding of their rights and responsibilities and roles in a participative process so as to turn them into important pillars of the society. This would lead to their inclusion in future Programmes and actions targeted at their group.
Social, economic and political empowerment of youth is promoted through YIN and several outreach projects and programmes are used to develop and engage them.
YIN focuses on the entire life cycle of the youth and their transition into livelihood options and is a universal representative of the urban and rural voice. In doing so, the network needs to be sensitive towards both social and economic needs of the youth.

Why this initiative ?
We realized at the recent launch of YIN that the youth have tremendous energy. The youth are focused on their careers and goals and also on creating social change.
YIN members have already begun connecting with each other on social media.This initiative aims to provide a platform for the youth to articulate and implement their ideas on the ground.

Society's Role is Important
Society’s contribution in giving shape to the ideas of college students and financially supporting them will be welcomed.Political parties must also participate in this initiative.

Nature of Initiative ?
Innovative ideas of the youth will be collated. The Sakal Media Group and YIN will assist the students in this regard.
The youth could suggest ideas which could make their immediate surroundings a better place. These ideas could include having clean toilets in colleges, assisting the traffic police, conducting energy audits and so on.
The youth suggesting the ideas must also implement them on the ground. SEVEN of the most implementable ideas will be selected. These ideas will be presented to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister, leaders of various political parties, entrepreneurs and representatives of NGOs. These leaders will be encouraged to suggest action programmes for the youth.
This action plan will be related to the process of changes in the country. From October 15th, Sakal Media Group will organise a programme highlighting these ideas.
While some of the selected ideas will be published, others will be uploaded on the YIN website (http://www.yinforchange.org)Only YIN members will be eligible to participate in this initiative.

Role of sakal media group?
College youth can intimate their innovative ideas to the Sakal Media Group.
The Sakal Media Group will be transforming Ideas for youth and provide a forum to convert these ideas into reality. Any innovative idea which is implementable is welcome.

There will be a change 
The Sakal Media Group through its ‘Maharashtra’s Expectations’ initiative had sought the people’s developmental concerns. Accordingly, water emerged as the key area of concern and we have begun work on the same in right earnest.
If YIN members utilize the Sakal Media Group forum for social initiatives, the society will support you too and a strong network will emerge out of this. Participation of YIN members will enable them to enhance their career paths, gain confidence and acquire new skills and benefit society.

Mission
Young Inspirators Network (YIN) is a voluntary alliance of young citizens striving for positive change within their individual, professional and societal spheres. YIN aims to create a spirited and unified platform that inspires and engages the youth to participate in the critical process of nation building. The unique promise of YIN is to integrate the youth as a dynamic force in nation transformation, ensuring direct outcome through tangible results. YIN is a holistic platform for engagement with the youth, created to allow a meaningful exchange of information, ideas and views. To make such a platform successful and sustainable it needs to focus on the entire life cycle of the youth and the transition into livelihood options. Through our various programs and projects we plan to integrate youth into national transformation.YIN is an attempt to create a relevant, sustainable platform with India as the pilot country and then make it a more international network in the next 5 years.

a.YIN is a platform that provides the youth with a chance to uplift the society by pitching their ideas and in return getting a fair opportunity to turn those ideas into an inspiration for others. We are all trying to bring about change together.

a.Unlike other social communities, the YIN initiative will assist students in making their surrounding a better place and contribute to the Nation’s development process. The implemented ideas could be selected by our nations Prime Minister and will also appear on our website.

6.Eligibility criteria to be a member?
a.There is no eligibility criterion for being a part of our initiative. Students in the age group of 18-24 years can become members. However, housewives, working professionals and retired citizens can volunteer to extend their help and support towards our initiative.

8.Is there any registration fee/ Charges for Sign-up?
a.An amount of Rs 200 can be paid towards registration fees for signing up.

9.Why is there a registration fee if the initiatives are for noble cause for bringing about a change/development of the society?
a.This fee is charged to ensure that only those who are seriously and sincerely interested in the cause to make a change towards a better society and better India will register.

10.What is the duration of this initiative?
a.The duration depends on the task undertaken by the students. It can vary between 1 week to 6 months.

11.Will I be paid for any of the services offered?
a.No. YIN operates as an NGO. It is an initiative which provides a platform to the youth to come together and implement their ideas for developing the nation and bring about a change in the society.

a.The YIN initiative is backed with famous and influential personalities like Mr. Abhijit Pawar, Aamir Khan, Anand Mahindra and Dr. Amir Kfir who have mentored other initiatives in the past.

15.How many projects can a individual take up at one time?
a.Members can take up only one project at a time. On completion of their project, they can take up another one.

16.Can I gather people such as friends and family members to help me in the initiatives? ( is it restricted to college members only?) 
a.Yes. A member can gather all his friends and relatives for these activities as volunteers.

17.How can we monitor the daily activities and progress of our contribution?
a.Once you register yourself on our website and create an account, the leader board provides all the data related to the initiatives and progress of his/her activities.

18.Do we need to undergo some training/briefing before we start our activities? If yes, where will it be provided?
a.The training for this initiative will be provided to the students in their college campus. The students will have a mentor who will guide them throughout their activities. The Principal/Director of the colleges will also extend their help and support.

19.What are the benefits of being a member/association with YIN?
a.The most implementable ideas will be selected and presented to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, leaders of various political parties and representatives of NGO’s. These ideas will be published and uploaded on the YIN website. YIN also gives us an opportunity to network and collaborate with like-minded people to seek Personal, Professional and Social Development.

20.Can we make donations for carrying out this initiative? If yes, in whose name and where can we make these donations?
a.Just call us on our helpline numbers and we will guide u through the process.

21.Are there any tax exemptions/benefits against donations?
a.No there are no tax exemptions.

22.Will there be any financial support provided by YIN for carrying out the initiatives?
a.Yes, mentors can provide some kind of financial assistance.

24.What if I am unable to complete the tasks undertaken? Will there be some kind of support (non-financial) from your side?
